Adam began his musical career over twenty years ago at the tender age of three. He got his start with the Concord Blue Devils Drum & Bugle Corps, which was founded by his grandparents in 1957. Adam made his way through the ranks as a performer between the years of 1988 and 2004, winning a DCI World Championship along the way in 2003. In addition to his involvement with the Blue Devils, he was also a member of the Sacramento Freelancers Winter Percussion Ensemble in 2004 and 2006. Adam began teaching the Blue Devils ‘C’ Corps in 1997 as an assistant to his father and has filled the role of Percussion Caption Head/Arranger since 2000. He has also worked with various high schools throughout Northern California and has provided private lessons to many local youth within the past five years. Adam is originally from the San Francisco Bay Area but has recently relocated to Sacramento in order to obtain a BA Degree in Social Work from Sacramento State University.

Adam draws from his many years of musical/technical knowledge and experience in order to help his students achieve their goals in a fun and positive manner. Whether the student is just starting out or has been playing for a while and wishes to take the next step in their development, a specialized curriculum can be created for each individual student’s abilities, needs, goals and interests.
