Vocal/Singing Instructor: Jazz Sunpanich

Bio

Jazz Sunpanich was born in Bangkok, Thailand. She performed in a number of Thai musicals with her father and had many tours around Thailand. In 2009, she started Classical vocal training with Dusadee Banomyong, a Thai classical music master and nationally-renowned artist, and was accepted into a highly prestigious choral group in Thailand: Suanplu Chorus. She worked professionally with other professional singers and conductors and performed concerts in many different countries around the world.

In 2011 she started teaching at KPN Music Academy in Thailand where she coached young talents to sing properly and inspired them to pursue their dreams. She received a Bachelor Degree in Music from Silpakorn University, Thailand in 2013 and decided to pursue her dream of becoming a musical theatre actress on Broadway. She moved to the United States at the end of 2013 and started her Theatre Arts education at American River College. Now, she resides in NYC and studies with a broadway vocal coach, Brian Russell Carey, to further develop her voice in a musical theatre style. She's also working closely with a Broadway acting coach, Kimberly Vaghn, while taking classes with Sierra Boggess at Actor Therapy. With the knowledge that she learned from years in NYC plus more than 20 years in Theatre. Now she's so jazzed to pass on her knowledge to passionate students and help them move on to the next level.

Method

Jazz incorporates the foundation of classical training with modern styles and builds it up to get the musical theatre sound. Trained intensively in both classical and musical theatre, she understands the differences between styles very well. Jazz will help you get strong mix-belt sounds while helping you understand your own vocal instrument and finding your unique voice in the process.
