Violin Teaching

Past students have been members of youth symphonies and all-state ensembles.  She also teaches at Music Mission San Francisco; an El sistema inspired program for underserved children.  

 

Bio

Catherine is a member of the Sacramento Philharmonic & Opera, Sacramento Choral Society & Orchestra and for 10 years, was Assistant Concertmaster of the Stockton Symphony Orchestra (CA).  She is also active as a freelance musician throughout northern California.

Her education includes studies at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and the University of Southern California where she earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Violin Performance.  Her private teachers included Isadore Tinkleman at SFCM and Eudice Shapiro at USC.  Catherine maintains an active membership in the American String Teacher's Association and Davis Music Teacher's Association.
