Classical • Soul • Pop • Bossa Nova • Ear Training • Music Theory • Songwriting
Bio
Jordane began piano at age four and completed advanced conservatory training in Paris, studying classical piano, theory, and composition. She studied at the Conservatoire International de Paris and was awarded a Prize in Solfège (Music Theory). She later earned the LTCL (Licentiate of Trinity College London) diploma in Piano Performance.
In addition to her classical background, Jordane has performed in R&B, soul, pop, and bossa nova ensembles, bringing stylistic versatility to her teaching.
With over 20 years of teaching experience across Europe, the Middle East, and North America, she has worked with students of all ages and levels. She taught ear-based group programs through the Yamaha method for over ten years, integrating listening skills, harmony recognition, and creative development into structured piano study.
Jordane has arranged piano works for music publishers, published multiple piano books, and composed original music for contemporary dance companies in Arizona and California. Drawing from these experiences, she has developed a blended teaching approach that combines solid technique, ear training, sensory-based learning, harmony, and practical musicianship.
Teaching Method
Jordane’s teaching philosophy focuses on developing versatile pianists while tailoring lessons to each student’s musical interests and tastes.
Students are encouraged to learn songs they genuinely want to play. Jordane arranges music to fit each student’s level — whether beginner or advanced — so they can work on meaningful repertoire while building strong fundamentals.
