About the Series
Skip’s Student Sessions is a relaxed live performance series held inside Skip’s Hang, giving students the opportunity to perform one song in front of family, friends, teachers, and the Skip’s Music community in a warm, supportive live venue atmosphere.
One Song Each
Each performer presents one prepared song in a supportive, low-pressure live setting designed to build confidence and stage experience.
All Styles Welcome
Voice, guitar, piano, drums, bass, strings, acoustic, pop, rock, jazz, and more are all welcome on the Live at the Hang stage.
Real Performance Growth
Students gain valuable live performance experience in an intimate, professionally presented environment focused on encouragement and creativity.

Featuring students of Skip’s Music School performing live in an intimate lounge-style atmosphere for family, friends, and the Skip’s Music community.
Open to all ages. Come support the next generation of musicians.
Performer Information
Performers are primarily students of Skip’s Music School. Students of all ages and skill levels are welcome to participate. Each student will prepare one featured song with their teacher and perform live at Skip’s Hang in a relaxed and supportive setting.
Live at the Hang takes place every two months and is intentionally limited to approximately 15 solo performances per session to maintain an intimate and engaging live music atmosphere.
Performer spots are limited and expected to fill quickly. Students interested in participating are encouraged to apply early.
For Families & Guests
Come support developing musicians in an intimate live music atmosphere. Seating is intentionally limited to create a warm and engaging audience experience that feels more like a live lounge performance than a traditional recital.
