Teaching Approach
Ron’s philosophy is that anyone and everyone CAN play music, and should always have FUN in the process. Lessons are customized to each student’s individual experience, preferences, and goals.
Bass instruction includes a solid grounding in music theory, leading to confident sight-reading, and building bass lines from fakebook lead sheets.
Flute instruction is classically-based, and Ron welcomes anyone interested in exploring jazz/rock aspects of flute playing. Adult students are welcome.
