About Travis
Originally from Racine, Wisconsin, Travis Drumm has been playing drums and percussion for over 30 years. He studied music performance at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and holds a degree in Recording and Music Technology from the Madison Media Institute.
Travis brings a wide-ranging musical background to his teaching, with experience across jazz, rock, blues, funk, metal, country, and Latin styles. He also teaches hand percussion including bongos and congas, giving students a well-rounded rhythmic foundation.
As a performer, Travis has opened for artists including Brett Michaels, Thomas Pridgeon, and Earth, Wind & Fire, and has also performed with Daniel Johnston.
With more than 16 years of teaching experience, Travis works with students of all ages and skill levels. His approach focuses on building strong fundamentals, developing musical feel, and applying skills to real playing situations.
He looks forward to continuing to inspire his students and helping them grow, gain confidence, and achieve their musical goals.
