Widely recognized for his remarkable fingerstyle technique, humor, and storytelling, Richard has performed around the world for more than three decades, captivating audiences with a unique blend of folk, blues, jazz, classical, rock, and contemporary acoustic music.

Ranked among the Top 100 Greatest Acoustic Guitar Players by DigitalDreamDoor, Richard has performed at the Atlanta Olympics, appeared at major festivals and concert series worldwide, and shared stages with artists including Leo Kottke, America, Warren Zevon, The Little River Band, and Steve Morse.

As an educator, Richard has served as an international clinician for Breedlove Guitars and Tacoma Guitars, and has created instructional content for TrueFire and Mel Bay Publications. He is also the founder of the renowned Gillacamp Guitar & Ukulele Camp.
