Courtney "FuegoDrums" Miller

Courtney "FuegoDrums" Miller is a versatile and accomplished drummer known for his commanding stage presence, innovative rhythms, and deep musicality. Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, and now based in Sacramento, California, Courtney began his musical journey in church at just six years old, where he developed a lifelong passion for rhythm and live performance.

A highly skilled and well-rounded musician, Courtney has mastered a wide range of styles including jazz, funk, hip hop, Latin, gospel, country, and pop. His dedication to continuous growth and musical excellence has made him one of the region's most sought-after drummers, music directors, and educators.

Courtney currently serves as drummer and Music Director for The Philharmonik, whose band gained national recognition as the winner of NPR's 2024 Tiny Desk Concert. He is also the drummer for Midtown Church Sacramento, a member of BASI VIBE, and founder and bandleader of George Napp, where he showcases his talents as both a performer and arranger.

Known for his powerful grooves, creativity, and versatility, Courtney brings energy and authenticity to every performance, whether supporting a worship service, driving a funk groove, or exploring complex jazz improvisation.

Beyond the stage, Courtney is passionate about developing the next generation of musicians. He is the founder of Drum Masters Clinic, an educational platform dedicated to inspiring and equipping drummers of all levels. The inaugural event featured acclaimed drummers Somadhi Stixx and Eric Moore II, establishing Drum Masters Clinic as an exciting new force within the drumming community.
