Yamaha’s engineers have achieved this sound by utilizing analysis and simulation to arrive at the best bracing design without depending on tradition.
Derived from the FG800, which has a solid spruce top and nato/okoume back and sides, the FGX800C has a cutaway body and an electric system. The Yamaha proprietary undersaddle piezo pickup and System66 analog preamp ensure solid, plugged-in performance.
